It's been a long road. At no fault to anyone I brought my truck to Timmons for what should be routine head gasket replacement. After replacement the cylinder head it failed after coming up to temperature. What seemed to be an inspection oversight by the machine shop, a leak through a hairline crack at the number 6 intake valve seat was the cause. Allowing the machine shop to located a vintage cylinder head. But to no avail. I took the initiative in locating, and shipping/routing a sound cylinder head to Timmons where they did the head gasket replacement all over again. My vintage 1958 Chevy engine sounds like new with little to no emissions. Thanks to Timmons Workmanship my truck is back on the road.
